I really don't think Sheldon cares about the arctic anymore. He forgave them in that episode and we've never seen him give the issue a second glance. The issue here is Leonard has stopped just giving him what he wants and actually stands up to him sometime. Sheldon does not like that. Which he can't really be blamed for, he had his way for years and isn't used to not always getting it.
