He really was. Not only was he a breath of fresh air as an individual character, I think he kind of brought characters like Jen and Jack and Andie to the forefront. Especially Jen.
Sometimes I think that without Drue, she probably wouldn've gotten completely lost in that season because the writers liked to overlook her.
