Yes it was very nice of her to take time out of her day just for her fans! It's great that she is one of those actresses that truly appreciates her fans.

Gilmore girls is a great show! It's too bad you can't get that channel! If you have ABC Family, they run reruns of the show two times a day. I'm not sure what times they would be where you live.
