I've actually wondered about that myself. In Season 1, we had both the Crash Festival and the UFO Center's convention used as episode backgrounds to good effect. Not to mention Milton popping up out of nowhere with his alien theories and conspiracies [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] (and while I liked Brody, I wish I knew what happened to him). I always found it interesting to see how the actual aliens responded to being surrounded by all the alien tourism and souvenir trade going on in Roswell. Michael and Isabel's responses to the UFO Center convention were particularly interesting (and amusing), while the three of them watching the mock crash at the Crash Festival was so sad.
