The town of Lafitte recently received a welcome surprise: Actor Zac Efron, known for his role in the movie “17 Again” and the “High School Musical” series, was in the area shooting his latest film. Chelsie Martinez and Courtney Bundy meet actor Zac Efron in Lafitte. He was in town recently to shoot a new movie.
Several fans waited outside Cochiara's Bar, near the movie set, waiting to catch a glimpse of the star in action.
“I waited seven hours in the freezing cold to see him, but it was SO worth it!” said Fisher High School student Chelsie Martinez. Fisher student Fallon Serpas said Efron "is amazing "He even signed 'To my love' on my poster,'' Serpas said. The movie is based on a novel written by the best-selling author Nicholas Sparks.
