I've decided that I think they are deliberately keeping the promo pics for ep 3 because they know how much I want them.

There are a bunch of returning characters in four:
Nancy Crozier........................ Mamie Gummer
Judge Victoria Adler..................... Kate Burton
Wendy Scott-Carr................ Anika Noni Rose
Courtney Wells....................... Sonequa Martin

I'm glad to see that Courtney is still around. I like the slightly difficult, tone deaf relationship Alicia has with her.

Alicia risks disbarment when Childs' office suspects her of an ethics violation, which could also ruin Peter's political campaign. Meanwhile, a third candidate is revealed in the campaign for state's attorney
Sounds like Childs really is going all out. I wonder if he sees Alicia as an easier target than Peter? Maybe his strategy is to take Peter out by taking Alicia out. It will be interesting to see what side everyone falls on in this. There are so many factors- self preservation, protecting the firm, personal loyalties/problems, the political angle- that could affect where they fall. I don't think there is any way Alicia actually committed an ethics violation but I do think it's likely (and more interesting) that she may have done something borderline or at least something that won't play well in the press. We've seen her do things plenty of times before- getting info from Peter when he was in jail, telling Kalinda to walk around the block, taking the evidence from the apartment. Sometimes she can walk really close to that line. It will be interesting to see everyone's reactions to that blowing up on her considering what she's done is nothing compared to what the others have just in the past season and she's the one who's still uncomfortable with how far they'll go.

Wasn't Kate Burton's character the head judge? I don't know much about the set-up but if Alicia is accused of an ethics violation, someone will have to get involved to handle that even if it never reaches the stage of appearing before the ethics committee. Possibly that could be Judge Adler's role? I kind of hope she is the third candidate (which YAY for that addition!) though because she seemed cold-blooded and political enough to play on the same level as Peter and Childs. And she already dislikes Alicia from Lifeguard lol.

So, Elizabeth Reaser's official role is "Tammy, Will's date for an event"? I know she will actually be his love interest and a real character and whatever but reading that, it makes me laugh because it sounds like he found her just for the event. If Tammy is only appearing in this ep as Will's date, that makes me think that the first time Alicia meets Tammy will be at the event. Awkward. Basically this whole episode sounds like hell for Alicia so the possibility that in the middle of everything else she's also going to walk into the middle of Will's date, probably with no warning, makes me nervous and sad for her in advance.
