I love to have a drink or two, even more with the good company, I don't easily get drunk but I've been a couple of times without really a motive. I still don't get the fun of being so out of control to miss the fun, embarass yourself and get hurt if you are not lucky.
I don't want to be judgemental but after the first serious hangover one should be consider a better way to enjoy life.
I don't know the social situation in US but in Italy people tend to drink too much and at too young age and this is without doubt won't lead us to anything better. And I'm not talking about a glass of wine for dinner.
