Well, Hyde and Jackie hadn't actually gotten back together yet -- and Hyde was pissed off that Jackie had been toying with him (and Kelso) at the end of Season 5. It was his way of shoving her own immature behavior back at her. He was making a point that he wasn't going to be controlled by her.
But it was definitely a display of passive-aggressive behavior on Hyde's part -- (not his first, unfortunately -- but I think it might have been his last -- yay
)
