I'm not a big Bella fan either.
I actually don't really ship any Carlisle AU/UC ships either. But I can see the appeal of Carlisle and Rose. There is a certain closeness there, I think, because he saved and at the same time destroyed her (at least in her eyes, whether she says so or not). It's the complete opposite of the dynamic between he and Bella.
