Well, it is not clear if it was just that judge but for sure some bribing is there (Peter said it since the beginning). Childs was trying to persuade the judge that Peter was one of those, pressing the Amber button. In last episode we discovered that Peter was paying Amber by himself so that was a strange kind of bribing...
I'm sure in the re-trial we'll have more on this or maybe Childs has already exploited it (his interestes was linking it to Peter, i'm not sure he wants to uncover hookers bribing for morality reasons)
