Exactly! Even though Mark denies it, it's so obvious that because they were planning Leyton to be this huge epic love story from Episode One, it HAD to continue that way...regardless of how the show progressed & how the pairing actually worked out. When you've got no chemistry between two actors, then they're love story is not gonna be believable--it's as simple as that. Yet Mark continued to push for something that clearly WASN'T there.
