Hmm, let's see. We know that they married when they were very young. When Sam married him she didn't know he was a millionaire. Casey's father thought Sam was a gold digger and told Casey that he was going to cut him off if he married Sam. Casey married Sam anyway, and his father cut him off. But Casey didn't care, he loved Sam and clearly she loved him. The details get sketchy though when it comes to why Sam left Casey. None of it is really clear.
But we do know that they are still married and have been for 7 years or so. I'm so thrilled he's coming back for the finale. I really love Sam and Casey.
