Seriously, where did this come from? I never got this vibe from Chuck in season 1. Now with the creepy faces he makes and the bizzaro voice, he looks like a pedophile to the point where I cringe in some C/B scenes when Blair is sitting in his lap.
Do you really think that they didn't want people to get attached to S/B in season 6? I think that they wrote Spike in a very human way considering that he was a vampire. His emotions ran so deep that he could almost be considered pathetic in some of his scenes, lol. I guess that was the writers fault if they didn't want us to sympathize with him in seasons 5-6
