Arizona: "People really like you over there, they respect you and they're concerned and interested..

You just, you look upset and I thought that you should know that the talk is good.

Callie: "You wanna give me some names?"
Arizona: "I think you'll know."

Arizona: "Wait.. so Erica and you, she was your first?"

Arizona: "Oh, okay.. So then I guess my answer is no, I'm sorry."

This is a really exciting time for you, but I work in peds.
I spend my entire day around newborns so I try not to in my personal life.

He said if I didn't come home, he'd take away my trust fund.
He'd cut me off. So, I cut him off.
I mean, if he can't accept me for who I am... I cut him off.”

Callie: “No. I mean yeah, I... don't know.”

Arizona: “You know they teach us in MED school how not to care so much.
We drape the patient's so we don't see their faces, we do a thousand different things to care a little less.
You care like crazy, and I love that.
And I'll keep loving that even if you decide to lie to your family.”

Arizona: We went out. To a 4 star restaurant, best in Seattle.
It was supposed to be fun. Romantic.
But, then you ordered a salad when they make the most delicious french food.
Then you picked at it, barely spoke to me, and then bolted.
So, what went wrong? I mean, did I do something?
Callie: I just wasn't feeling it, I was exhausted. Tired, sorry. HEY! I SAID THE HALL! The hall!

Arizona: ”You said you were tired... exhausted.
But, you can't be that exhausted if you're working in the ER on your day off.”
Callie: “I rallied.”
Arizona: “You rallied.”
Callie: “Yeah.”
Arizona: “You're lying.”
Callie: “No I'm not lying, I love the ER. *Picks up phone* Can you hold please? Thanks.”
Arizona: “You love the ER?”
Callie: “I can't get enough of it, it's fun.”
Mark: “You should tell her.”
Callie: “Yeah. Suck it Mark. Hey! We need more blood in trauma 2. GO!”

Because there are women that are lining up for me. I'm hot!
You should have the guts to say it, I can take it.
And maybe this was just a fling that's run his course, okay. Maybe it's over."

Callie: “Do you know what I was doing before they brought over the check?
I was counting in my head, trying to figure out how I was going to buy food for the rest of the week if my half was 75 bucks,
because I don't have 75 bucks, because my father disowned me.
And, has cleared out my bank account.
I am broke, and I am exhausted Arizona.
I'm working in the ER because I need the money. 6 people died on my watch today and I am fried.
I wanted to stay in last night.
I thought, I thought that last night would be the night for us. You know? Our night.
But, you wanted to go to a fancy restaurant.
I can't do that. I can't.”
Arizona: “It's ok. It's ok. Hey, so, we'll stay in, and we'll eat sandwiches.”
Callie: “You don't even like sandwiches.”
Arizona: “But, I like the girl who has the sandwiches. Ok?”
Callie: “Ok. No, you know what... I don't like sandwiches either. I like pizza.”
Arizona: “I like pizza too.”

Callie: And, because he's my ex husband, and I know his mom and I love his mom.
And, normally Izzie would talk sense into him but, she's got cancer,
and kind of a bad mental deficit.
So, it's on me to stop him.
Arizona: Why would you wanna stop him?
Callie: Because he joined the army. Don't you think that's a problem?
Arizona: I think that's awesome.
Callie: Awesome?

Sweet, kind George, who can't even kill a fly is joining the army to go
to Iraq in the middle of a war and you said awesome.
Arizona: It is, awesome.
Callie: No, it is not awesome. God, who are you?

I'm a person who thinks that what George is doing is dangerous, and terrifying, and brave.
He's going to serve his country.
He's going to risk his life to save the men and women who make it possible for you and I to sleep safely in our beds.
I’m a person who thinks that, that is brave.
And I am a person who stood in an airplan hanger, and watched them unload my brother's body in a coffin.
And, all we got was a flag. My brother died over there because there weren't enough doctors Callie.
So, for my money, George O'Malley is a patriot.
He's a hero, and I am grateful that he exists.
