Damon Salvator, The Vampire Diaries
Best known for playing the ill-fated Boone (pictured, right) on ABC's Lost — where he'll return for several episodes during that show's upcoming sixth season — Somerhalder got his first big break in 2000 on The WB's short-lived Young Americans (opposite Kate Bosworth and Friday Night Lights' Matt Czuchry), and later starred in the 2002 indie feature The Rules of Attraction (again opposite Bosworth), where his character spent most of his time lusting after James Van Der Beek. Somerhalder has also had recurring spots on Smallville and HBO's controversial Tell Me You Love Me. —Michael Slezak
