An Elvis-like celebrity, Conrad Birdie, is going into the army and a random teenage girl is chosen to be his last kiss before he leaves. Vanessa plays Conrad's agent's girlfriend, Rose. And since it's a musical, she has a few songs. I just love her singing the song Spanish Rose! She does a Spanish accent so well (her character is Spanish, but only uses an accent for the song).
The teenage girl that was chosen to kiss Conrad was played by Chynna Phillips in this movie. She's the reason I saw it in the first place 'cause I'm a big Wilson Phillips fan.
