I agree with Avery's assessment of the seasons. Part of the problem with S6 for me was that it was my first year of school and my roommate that year was not the kind of girl to enjoy the West Wing. (I call her passive aggressive roommate V1.0 but that's neither here nor there.

But also, they struggled bringing in the dynamic of Bartlet approaching the end of his final term (preemtive defense: that's not a spoiler, that's knowledge of the constitution.) They got a handle on that in the seventh season, which ended up being great. Also, also,
