I'll give the show some more time since it is from a former Buffy writer. But this ep was incredibly so and incredibly predictable. It does have alot of potential to be good. If its going to last they're going to have to tap into that potential fast because with this being Fox, it can be canned within 3 episodes. And by tapping into its potential, I mean completely ditching the entire OC/90210 vibe that the show is carrying right now. It's suppose to be dark, not another teen sex drama. Ditch it now or Fox will cut it lose. Marti does have alot of writing talent as her Buffy eps have shown, but she's not going to win with this show if it stays so predictable and so cliche.
I have confidence they can turn it around, but its definetly a slow start.
