Welcome to the Romantics 900th thread mini-celebration! Although we decided not too long ago to not make a new opening post for this milestone, we still thought we should do something to commemorate this accomplishment. So come join us as we celebrate 900 hundred threads of television's best family/duo.

Remember When It Rained

Salty drops of water slide down the window pane,
I watch you as you play with Jamie in the rain.
He is all bundled up in his rain gear from head to toe.
You pick him up and twirl him around as he squeals, “Daddy, no!”
You two are best friends, Jimmy Jam and Daddy,
And this never ceases to make me happy.
Your combined laughter warms me on this chilly day,
I sit here and reflect on how we got this way.
We’ve come so far, our little family,
I love looking back on how we came to be.

Rain has marked our important moments together,
We’ve grown stronger because of the storms we’ve weathered.
I remember that day that you sat outside my house soaking wet,
We’d had a huge fight and I had not forgiven you yet.
You hurt me deeply with the images on your computer screen. I was very insecure.
I didn’t think the gift of my heart was enough for you, after you’d been with her.
As you apologized and told me you only wanted me,
I remembered when you told me “nothing else matters” so tenderly.
You told me you loved me, and, sweetheart, I knew it was true,
As we kissed in the rain our love was reaffirmed and made anew.

The next time it rained, we were newlyweds.
We spent all day entwined in our bed.
Then one day I leaned over the railing and a drop landed on my face,
You came up behind me and wrapped me in your warm embrace.
Your lips followed the path the rain drops made on my skin.
We peeled our damp clothes off of each other and I let you all the way in.
We made love in the rain that day and night,
But I did not feel the cold as you held me tight.
Sighs of pleasure and moans of contentment filled the air,
We were in our own little world, just the two of us there.

A bittersweet tear comes to my eye,
When I think of our next time in the rain with a sigh.
After the tour you built up a wall around your heart,
I feared that you’d never let me in and that we’d always be apart.
But that one rainy, blustering day, the wind blew my heart straight into yours.
We passionately embraced on the hood of your car as the rain poured.
Our fears were stripped away with the rain,
We talked to each other and watched our worries go down the drain.
You let me know that you were hurt, but you were still proud of me everyday.
I thanked the heavens above that you still loved me in that way.
After we renewed our vows and our commitment to each other,
Soon we discovered that our lives would be enriched with another.

Our little wonder, our precious Jamie, our beautiful baby boy,
I think he was conceived in the rain which gives me great joy.
From when he was a baby, Jamie always loved the rain,
It was nature’s lullaby for him as it went “pitter pat” against the window pane.
The sound of the rain would sooth him when he’d cry.
Our sweet child loved this weather almost as much as you and I.
When I see you play with him now, I know that this is still true.
How appropriate that our miracle baby feels the way we do.

The rain then gave us hope and followed us into our daydreams.
You told me you dreamt of me when our marriage was splitting at the seams.
Water poured from the ceiling and drenched us to the core as we relived our first kiss.
Thank God we both came to our senses for this life with you in not one I’d want to miss.
Our lips and tongues tangled while your hands roamed everywhere,
They went from waist, to my cheek, before they fisted in my hair.
When we reunited, I made your daydream a reality as best as I could.
After eight years of marriage our love making is still so damn good.
My dreams and yours are forever entwined now,
I know that nothing can ever break us, no way, no how.

I’m so lost in my thoughts I don’t hear you and Jamie come inside.
I feel your lips graze my cheek as you whisper, “Surprise”.
My lips curve into a gentle smile and then you help me stand.
Your palm lingers on my stomache as you hold our growing baby in your hand.
My mother’s instinct tells me it’s the girl we’ve been waiting for.
She’ll be our newest water baby and you can’t wait for more.
You gently guide Jamie and me outside the door,
So we can all play together, our growing family of four.
I remember when it rained and sometimes wonder if you do too,
As I look into your eyes, I know, my love, you do.

“Hi, you must be Nathan,” Haley said, a smile fixed to her face as she offered her hand to the man—the mouth-wateringly gorgeous man, she couldn’t help noticing—standing in front of her.

Nathan nodded his head as he took her hand in his and shook it gently. “It’s, uh, nice to meet you, Haley.” He tore his gaze away from the mesmerising chocolate brown eyes he was looking into and looked at his friend and colleague with a slightly confused expression on his face. He sure as hell hadn’t been expecting her to introduce herself to him. “Hey, man.”

“Hey!” Wanting to get away as quickly as possible before Haley had a chance to embarrass him, he said, “So, I’m gonna take off and collect Tanya. See you later!”

Watching the lanky blonde practically running away from her, Haley didn’t even bother waiting until he was out of earshot before she burst out laughing.

“Uh, are you okay?”

“Never better,” she replied, her expression turning serious. “So, Nathan, it would appear that I’m your prize for the night. That’s right, isn’t it?”

We were 15th December and Haley was really upset against Nathan. She asked him since more like a week to drop back Christmas decoration but he hadn’t did it yet. That was Jamie’s first Christmas and she wanted it to be perfect.

Haley – Nathan Royal Scott, where are the decoration, you know the tree, the garlands, etc.?

Nathan coming in with Jamie in his arms – You awake him.

Haley – I asked you last week to put them in here like that I could do it today.

Nathan – Not my fault. I have a lot of work with the team and beside why didn’t you ask Lucas?

Haley – Because he’s not my husband and you are.

Nathan looking at Jamie – She’s got a point. (Jamie smiles) You suppose to help me. You know men rules, Jamie.
