This is a good episode for discussing the nurturing side of Dean (and wouldn't he just love hearing that description?
), what with how he steps up to help Ben, both with his bully issues and with saving him from the monster.
Sam never gave up on looking up to his big brother, expecting Dean to be able to fix things and know what to do - we see it even now that they're both adults. But yeah, during his angry rebellious years, I'm sure that Sam hurt Dean loads of times with his attitude, both intentionally (lashing out) and without meaning to (Dean just getting caught in the emotional cross-fire of Sam's war with John).
