C, I agree. As weird as it may sound, I think their break-ups actually show even more that they were meant to be. Just by the mere fact that they had to maintain some type of relationship.

IMO "Isn't it Romantic" during their first date is one of the best performances by Shannen and Luke of the series. Their explosive fight is so raw with emotion. It shows us how much Dylan hides from everyone and he isn't just this dark, tough guy all the time. "He always gets to me. he always gets to me." awww you just want to hug Dylan there.
