I agree, I don't really like Journey and I am really surprised it is written by the same author. It's so depressing and just dark. I cannot read fanfics where to me it seems the protagonist should die or something
ICA though Bash, I felt the kiss in the lib during the school shooting should have been his moment of clarity. And if not clarity it should have made him question his feelings, instead of running like a dumb ass back to Brooke.
