I have a few suggestions to better organize the intro. Since we're called Lifers, I think you should put it as the title of the list of fans (where it says meet the fans)..put it like
Meet the Fans:

And I thought maybe we should put the second banner underneath the first, just cuz the banners usually go at the top of the thread. So, then we'll have the banners at the top, then the fan list, then the sites..that way I think it'll look more organized
