I think they should've got together when Eric got back. It would've been better than J/F. Or maybe before Eric went to California. It could've been EJ over JH. (BTW, I don't have anything against JH.) I think they were better friends and could be better friends than they were portrayed. Jackie trusts Eric over everyone else, probably even over Donna.
