Actually no, not everyone is a member of the guild, only a large majority, which is why you see a lot of people in starwars that are a) foreign or b) little known (i.e. independant)
I finally saw ANH...I'm disappointed. To me, they spent a lot of time fixing stuff that wasn't broken, and not fixing things that were. Noted errors (i.e. Luke calling R5-D4 an R2 unit) weren't fixed, and stuff that was ok (luke's saber training on the falcon) is now messed up...i.e. is his nearly white saber is now GREEN...
