For the series, over 70 bush bachelors signed up for some help to meet a potential partner, and over 1200 single British women, and 200 single Australian women applied to be matched to a bush bachelor. Over a weekend at a hotel in Perth, each bachelor dates three women before finally picking one to spend a month with him living and working the life of a bush sheila.
