Realistically, Sean would have totally lost his to Amy. And Ellie would have lost hers to Sean, since he was the first boy she loved and treated her with respect, and not to mention lived with. But it didn't happen this way, 1) For more contrivances in Eman's favor, and 2) For some awkward storyline of Ellie dealing with dating an older guy.
