Um ... how do you know when you have no appreciation for Matt? When you find yourself feeling an inkling of disappointment/confusion as you think, for two seconds, that this is his first appreciation thread.
Anyway, I promise I didn't dislike him just cause he interrupted Dy/K's reunion for two years. Matt's right up there with several later day characters that I just couldn't take seriously for the life of me. But when I get right down to it, it's the fact that he had no sense of humor that gets me the most. Even more than the appalling self-righteousness.
