Canada doesn't HAVE states. They have Provinces.
Dead Like Me is filmed in Canada, in the Province of British Columbia, in the city of Vancouver. Which I hate, because I kind of hate Vancouver for stealing productions from the US, but they can't help it. Other shows filmed in Vancouver: Tru Calling, Smallville, Life As We Know It, and the now cancelled Dark Angel and X-Files.
