Oh, urgh! Luckily, my vision's okay, but... if it wasn't, I'd be becoming a "speccy kid" myself. Two of my friends need glasses, but one refuses to wear them because she thinks people stare at her when she wears them (the frig?) and the other thinks she looks "geeky". I have to bite my tongue not to yell about how stupid they're being (or yell "have you seen David Tennant in glasses?!! How can you still think that glasses are for geeks?)
