I saw it and I thought that her behavior is really childish and selfish. I think Denny was her true love, or maybe I'm wrong and it was Hank, or maybe Alex? I'm sure Izzie doesn't know what love is.

Okay, I'm not sure this is the right thread for that, but it's really funny to read what a person on TWOP wrote as a review. Enjoy And tell my what you think. I think it's great writing and so much truth in it. Especially the Gizzie part

Oy, what happened to this show? Oh, wait, that's what I've been saying since six months ago, never mind. My oh my, where to begin...

Meredith and Derek's "surprising" resolution? Whatever. According to my astute analysis, the major problem between these two has always been a lack of communication. So how is eschewing any kind of real talking for screwing in the on-call room while they're "breaking up" a step in any productive direction? Why can't Derek say these things that indicates he understands Meredith to Meredith? Why can't they ever have a freaking conversation like normal people? Not like a normal couple, like normal people. Sheesh.

I think this was the first episode ever that I hated Bailey. I mean, seriously. Talk about a sore loser. She was a whiny bitch. So you didn't get chief resident. Suck it up and get over it. When did she become so entitled? She's been hanging around Izzie too much. The position was not owed to you, Bailey. Taking enjoyment out of watching Callie struggle? Stupid and immature. Get over yourself.

Seriously, what was up with Alex being so testy with Callie? I guess it's supposed to be part of the whole "No one wants to respect Callie because they miss working with Bailey and/or think Bailey should have been chief resident" thing, but Alex, in my opinion, would be the last one to make that big a deal about it or think or care about it too much. Or is all this confrontation supposed to be a setup for the Callie/Alex angry revenge sex we may or may not have been spoiled about?

What does Shonda have against Callie? She has Callie's husband accidentally insult her by insinuating that a blonde, stacked supermodel is hot therefore she is not; husband then cheats on her with said supermodel who also happens to be the permanent thorn in Callie's side (as a "curvy" woman of color herself, Shonda should be ashamed); no one respects her in her new promotion because they miss their old mommy. Since when did Callie become the punching bag of the show?

George. Izzie.

Why?

Make it stop.

Just make it stop right now.

George was a bitch. As usual. Nothing new there. But seriously, SHUT UP, Bambi. You failed, you have to repeat--you decided to repeat your year--so do it and shut up about it. Where in the world did he ever get this "What did I do to deserve this?" complex about life? And blaming everyone else for his not passing the test? Shut up! You failed because you failed. People fail tests all the time. Life sucks sometimes. Stop whining and move on.

Izzie is certifiable. She was only mildly annoying tonight, though, surprisingly, and some of her scenes and lines were actually quite funny. But what is up with her stalking George? I'd love to document the labyrinth of her brain. I imagine it goes something like: "George ... surgery ... George ... muffins ... I BELIEVE! ... whine ... George ... What about ME?!!!! ... George ... ME!!!!! ... Everything anyone ever does is about me ... George!" Can someone please turn off her George switch, because it's getting annoying? It is quite clear to me--not that it hasn't been already--that she is merely obsessed with George, or perhaps just the idea of George, instead of actually being in love with him. Can't she just get addicted to cocaine like a normal person? Her addictions to human beings are quite obnoxious.

Oh, and her interns are duds? Um, Izzie, the reason they stood around all day doing nothing but smirk at you behind your back is because you were acting like a freaking lunatic. They were a lot nicer to you than they should have been; I would have reported her to an attending, because I am sure treating an animal in a regular hospital must be illegal or something.

And finally, George AND Izzie. Whatever. I'm actually kind of happy that we had George reciprocate Izzie's love declaration in this episode, the very first episode of the season. Because, if the writers have any sense (and we know that they don't but I'm still hoping they've learned something over the summer), they will not have George and Izzie go through all that drama and angst and guilt and whatnot for the last seven, eight episodes just for George to up and decide out of nowhere, after repeatedly saying that he didn't want to, to dump Callie, and for him and Izzie to just get together just like that and have it actually work. Un-uh. I believe this is the way they are ending Gizzie: By having them get together so they can fall apart. 'Cause I've been thinking about it, and I don't think either of them is ever going to get over themselves and their obsessing over this crap unless they actually get what they want. They're never going to realize that they never wanted it after all until they get it. They have to learn the hard way. I'm all for it if it means putting this garbage out of its misery. I just hope it doesn't take too long.

Ah, Cristina. As usual, the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible show, er, episode.
