personally, i really like the idea of doing a show about Leo's early days. It could be kind of like the whitelighter answer to "Batman:Year One." I think showing a lot of the demons and warlocks from Charmed being encountered for the first time by Leo, and focusing on a whitelighter's point of view would really put a fresh spin on the whole mythology of the show. They could really flesh out why Leo is the way he is later on, and how he first got wrapped up in the Halliwell family's lives has the potential to be very interesting. The prospect of showing Leo's development from being a mortal military medic during WWII to one of the magical community's greatest whitelighter would definately be a very compelling show.

I also think the Wyatt/Chris/Melinda idea would make for some good tv, although that show would be a lot more like Charmed in that it would focus on good witches. There would have to be some sort of new spin to it, especially when considering how powerful the Charmed Ones children are. That is why I suggested having them dealing with being ostracized by the magical community, or struggling with constantly being compared to their legendary parents. Another aspect that I didn't mention but was thinking of would be to have some of the focus be on Phoebe and Paige's children, and how they deal with being not nearly as powerful as Piper's children. Although they would all be friendly, this would definitely cause some sort of rift between the cousins, which could at some point the tension could become real animosity. I wouldn't want to make any of the children become outright evil, but there could easily be an unhealthy rivalry that could cause a lot of trouble for the boys and girls of the Halliwell clan.

Finally, while it would be the least likely to ever be made, the show I'd be most interested in seeing would be the show from the demon's and underworld's point of view. It would be such an interesting twist to seeing things through the eyes of characters that would generally be given little or no sympathetic backstories. It also would fly in the face of general conventions of supernatural shows on tv, which normally are about forces of good, not forces of evil. It would also show that the demons and warlocks (at least within the spinoff) are not just cut and dry evil characters. Their motivations and reasons for doing what they do would be a lot more sympathetic than would be expected. It would be a very interesting dynamic to have the new demons coming to power within the underworld, butting heads with the traditional leaders like the Source or the Triad. The new breed would be less inclined to be evil just for the sake of being evil, and would have real, understandable reasons to commit the morally ambiguous acts that they would undoubtedly have to commit. They could also be much more dangerous and ruthless, since being the main characters of the show would allow them to actually be victorious, which would never happen in a show like Charmed.
