I don't think they're going to focus on Jeremy too much. The core of the show is the wives and how they take care of each other while their husbands are gone. But with putting some focus on Jeremy they bring in a younger audience too. And I do like where it might go with Jeremy...in the last episode
With all the other wives we see more of a finished product.
