Thanks and yes, I really don't think the WB ever understood what they had with Everwood. They didn't comprehend how it danced to the beat of a different drum and was so very unique and special because of it's all around high quality. They almost didn't like the fact that it wasn't classified as a "teen soap" which was their trademark typical show. As a result, they didn't know how to handle Everwood and treated it as "the odd show out" and they neglected it because they could better relate to the teen soap flavor instead.
So many have already said Everwood didn't fit in with the WB in the least and was much better suited on a larger, more serious network like CBS, one that would have embraced the show instead of tossing it aside.
