I happened to like the NP scenes. It isn't weird for exes to talk about their past from time to time.
I would just like to say in their defense that Peyton totally could have been an imspiration for Nathan, they may have had a crappy relationship, but we don't know anything about them really at the beginning.
I must say I really liked Mouth/Shelley for some reason
