no way are they related they have so much chemistry. i just hope they dont pull a star wars thing, sorry stayed up late with sis and had a marathon. anyways... i had this thought, since claire can heal herself, is there a possibility she can heal others. if so she could heal peter from going BOOM.
also the guy said that claire was safe for now, so she must be in danger in the future which peter could try and save her.
just a thought.
