There is no post limit to have a signature, I think it's possible you clicked the "Preview" button instead of the "Save" button and maybe that's why it doesn't seem to work?
It could also be because of the software upgrade Fan Forum has recently experienced, maybe it takes a little while longer, but I think you should try to do it again, and it will work
