Love the episode the title is from. Doppelgangland was Willow's finest moment. One of the best eps in a great season.

Funny thing is in the old days I used to be a Willow-basher. It was sparked by Alyson's conflict with SMG over the ending of he show (I'm a fanatical SMG supporter), which I think they've healed up by now. Also, I was very sore over Willow's mistreatment of Tara in season 6 (I love Tara), but I've forgiven her by now.

Willow has the distinction of being the only Jewish regular character in a show where many of the officially non-Jewish characters are played by Jewish or part-Jewish actors (Buffy, Dawn, Tara, Oz, Wesley, Drusilla, Snyder, Warren, etc). Alyson is of course Jewish too, on her mother's side. Her father is Irish Catholic. I suspect Willow was made Jewish because Alyson is. (Jonathon is clearly Jewish too, because Levinson is always a Jewish name, but he's not a regular like Willow.)
