It's easy for a male character to be one thing. Than a female does the same and gets critiqued for it. Tony Stark is cool, **** and arrogant. People praise him. Carol does the same and she's called a cold B word.
Plus throughout most of the first. She doesn't know who she is. So she has no emotions for the most part. Aside from a snarky joke here and there.
