Since the show is no longer on the air, I don't think that we really need to change the graphic. All the principles are there, and the MENTALIST logo does a nice job of bringing it all together. But a change of color scheme would be nice.
In particular, I think it would be nice to include the light turquoise blue of Jane's teacup. I've posted some pictures below so you can see the color I'm talking about.
