I watched Yashahime when it aired on TV. It lacked the charm IunYasha had. The lead characters (the trio chicks) were either obnoxious or boring, with unlimited powers. It was hard to root for them.
I quit after the 7th or 8th episode. Besides, it had barely had romance, which is probably the most important element in my opinion.
Back in high school, I used to be obsess with InuYasha. It was wonderful with the action, romance, suspense, and comedy. Too bad I stopped round after the Band of Seven (?) arc.
