MCU Spider-Man Has 3 Perfect Villains After No Way Home

Tom Hardy's character in Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage makes a brief appearance in the MCU in his second movie's end credit scene and in the end credit scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Leaving behind some of the symbiote in the MCU means Sony's next Venom movie has an impossible Spider-Man challenge to face, and it also causes more problems between Disney and Sony. Since Venom is in the Sony Spider-Man Universe, there may be some challenges with getting the character to appear as the main villain in an MCU Spider-Man movie.

Logistics aside, Venom being Spider-Man's next villain in the MCU makes a lot of sense. The quick end credit scene has to play an important role in Peter Parker's future. A plot twist like that cannot just go untouched by Marvel Studios. Venom is a major character in Spider-Man comic book stories, and the groundwork is there for the MCU. The movie franchise can't miss this opportunity that they have. Venom 3 will be the final chapter for the character in the Sony Spider-Man Universe, but that doesn't mean Secret Wars & Spider-Man crossovers can't occur for the symbiotic creature.
