Comments: Annette’s line, “He’s so hairy,” gave me the opportunity ti riff a little. That’s one way I write the comics: a character says something a bit bizarre, and off my imagination goes, spinning that line into a conversation.
Fez’s thoughts in the second-to-last panel stem from the comics’ earlier readers enjoying Fez seeming to be “half in love with Kelso” during season 5. I pay attention to comments readers make about the show and what they wished they could’ve seen, and that continues to influence aspects of my writing T7C.

I chose to go in the complete opposite direction the show took with Kelso in season 7, where he regressed to being a letch. Instead, having Betsy solidified his love (and lust) for Brooke. The void (or wounding) inside him is (mostly) healed, so he doesn't seek to fill it with endless sex with a myriad of women. Having a deep, meaningful,
healthy relationship with one (and his kid) has done wonders for him.
