I think it became a movie she associated with Luke as their first movie night together. In Season 7 she says to Chris she doesn't want to ever watch Casablanca with him, after they have a run of bad movie dates and she starts to think it's them making the movies bad. So Casablanca is her Luke movie and she doesn't want the image of that ruined. It's special to her.
