And it's so selfish of him that he did this at her party, celebrating her achievement, meaning now that's what she will remember when she looks back on that day. It's the same with him giving her the ultimatum and breaking up with her on her actual graduation day. So damn selfish of him and it's NOT out of character for him, these are exactly things Logan would do.
