How have you always felt about Nina and Jake? I actually like them better this rewatch! They are not soulmates, she is meant to be with Andy, clearly, but I do like them. I am glad Nina dated someone after her horrible cheating ex-husband, and the court battle... she needed someone normal and decent to just spend time and have fun with. That is Jake. Right now, they are just fine. They get complicated later but for now, they are fine. Andy should really stay out of it. He never listened to Nina on Amanda when he should have, so why on earth is he trying to make things tense and stupid with Jake? Nina used Andy being upset over Ephram and no doubt he is upset over Ephram but there's also clear jealousy and not liking Nina and Jake going on as well.

No, I have not always felt this way about Nina and Jake. I guess all of us have been watching these episodes more carefully this time around so that we can get more/new information and ideas that we perhaps missed the other times we watched. Like you....I like Nina and Jake much better this time. Jake is not annoying me as much this time around. In fact...Andy is annoying so much more than he ever did. Andy is another self centered male of the Brown family. When he was with Amanda it was all about him and his needs at the moment with no thought to Nina. Now that Amanda is out of the picture it's still all about Andy. It's as if he expects Nina to just wait around while Andy takes care of his business/needs until he comes back. Well Andy...this time Nina did not wait and I believe she and Jake have a good thing going. She's got a sweet guy who really cares about her...gives her his time and probably would not yell at her for having a foot massager under her bed!
