It's relative, but far as I can tell my expectations are average. Like I've said, I like Mortal Kombat '95 despite all its flaws. It has a fun, cheesy charm to it.
I'm not into horror, but of the Blumhouse stuff I love the Happy Death Day movies. Honestly, Blumhouse would probably handle Resident Evil better than Sony.
The concept of Wesker's daughters finding out about their dark family legacy sounds like it could be interesting, and Lance Reddick is a phenomenal actor, but it's weird that the creators of this show looked at Wesker - an upper class blonde white guy obsessed with genetic superiority - and decided to cast an African-American man in the role.
