It's not that I say I hate GiGi, precisely because she's a kid I can't say that, but I have an aversion to her and that never stops.
I like April and don't understand the hatred. April is a cool, easy-going, very funny girl who has a right to her father and she wasn't to blame for the breakup of LL, that was Luke's fault because he pushed Lorelai away because of April. April liked Lorelai and has never felt these problems Luke saw, April was totally open to Lorelai. But we also know that Luke only used April as a reason because he had unspoken fears.

I absolutely agree with you when it comes to babysitting and where she goes to his home to help him with GiGi. It's not her problem, Chris has to finally learn to grow up and Lorelai has to stop trying to save him all the time.
