my final guess before the episode drops:
i think jan was one of the people in involved. to clarify, i think two people were involved. the one who poisoned and the one who shot tim after he was already dead. thinking jan was the shooter to cover up for (maybe a lover) whoever poison/killed tim.
just gotta wait until someone tweets about it to find out if my guess is right or not.
