I would prefer a NO vibe, it terms of making the show about the family as well, and making it more personal... LA became a bit too tech savy & Russia related for the past few years
It's going to be the 3rd Hawaii based show I've ever watched, so until the pilot I cannot say if it will give me 5-O or Magnum vibes... But I'm sure that it will feel like its own show after the first couple of episodes...
